I had a smooth journey to the festival grounds. Since I managed to get an Austrian cellphone card I'm reachable under +4369911349637 at the moment. Unluckily, despite my understanding I only got a press accreditation for the event and no foto accreditation - so I'm not allowed to take my DSLR camera with me. Hopefully my new cellphone will provide some useful snapshots..

Leaving this afternoon I will be heading head for Salzburg, to visit the Frequency-Festival, which takes place at the Salzburgring this week. Headliners are Nine Inch Nails, Die Ärzte and Tool. But of course there a lot of really good bands on stage. I’m looking forward to see: Kaiser Chiefs, Billy Talent, Groove Armada, Klaxons and Fall Out Boy!

Like for the Southside festival I will be there sent by Feki.de to give the users there a nice coverage of the event. Unluckily I don’t have nice company like last time. But visiting a festival on your own will be fun, too . I will try to give you some live coverage through moblogging here, but I’m not sure how often I will manage to do this, since the costs sending from Austria might be quite high.

We are currently having an inofficial and spontaneous blogger meeting near the main stage of the Bamberg zaubert festival. The Troglauer Buam are on stage and rockin' the venue.

Just took a last stop at the press area, to check my entries and to answer some comments. Guess I won't be back here after the Beastie Boys, who are up next at the main stage. I'll get you an impression from their concert online and afterwards we will be back on the road heading first to Stuttgart, to drop Tobi there and then home.

Up to now I've just the best impressions of this festival. Although getting all those bands photographed can you get quite tired. I should have trained to walk around with several kilos of camera equipment for a whole weekend..

Anyway. I won't spent much more time here, but rather join Jan and Tobi in front of the stage and look forward to a great performance of the Beastie Boys!
