Conference pictures online

Tuesday, September 25. 2007

dnn2007I managed to sort through all of those pictures I took at the "Das Neue Netz" conference. To achieve a higher level of networking I posted all of them on Flickr, but I prefer having them sorted a little more in my very own gallery. Unluckily it seems that I took an overwhelming mass of pictures. So far only a few more pictures with the conference tag "dnn2007" appeared on Flickr.

10:00 - 10:30 Introduction and welcome

10:30 - 11:30 Aske Dam: Then and now - the history of personal media

15:00-15:15 - Short break

15:15-16:00 - Content Transcending Cash

16:00-end - Closing, Group Planning of Vlog Europe 2008

Since the conference is hosted in Heidelberg this year, I don't have too much trouble to attend. I'll also be a given a few minutes at the "Perfect Software" session to talk about education and vlogging. I think there are a few good approaches in this area, where vlogging is already part of educational software and processes, that might be of interest for the discussion here.

I'm currently working some sound technics at a conference of the Deutscher Bauernverband in Bamberg. It's a discussion about the globalisation of agriculture. Although a big part seems to be on European politics it's interesting so far.

VLOG Europe!

Friday, July 28. 2006

VLOG Europe!Guess, you have already noticed, that there is a new logo on the left column of my blog. The European Vlogger-scene is planning a get together conference this autumn in Milan/Italy. Purpose of this event is to promote vlogging. I think vlogging is a real powerful chance for self expression; it’s just more than writing a blog entry or doing a podcast. If you want to get in touch with some of the European vlogging scene this conference might be the place to be. I don’t know whether I’ll be able to make it to Milan, but I’m very interested! Anyone want to join me for a short holiday to Italy?
(Speaking about vlogging: I already gathered material for a first vlog covering the blogger-cup – but unluckily I’m a little too inexperienced too get a fast result out of this raw material..)

Back from Salzburg / Munich

Friday, May 26. 2006

Salburg castleI returned late yesterday night, were I visited my friends Tom and To after visiting the Edumedia 2006 conference in Salzburg. Unluckily I didn’t make it to start digesting the conference and my impressions yesterday. First I had to overcome the shock that my favourite basketball team didn’t make it into the playoff finals this year, then I decided to consume the season final of Twenty-Four. Right now I have already sorted through two picture sets for my private gallery. The first set contains pictures taken directly from the conference, which I will us later for a short summary on thoughts I had about the different topics. The second (the best shots are already available on flickr) contains pictures of our little sightseeing tour we had after the conference.

Social Skills durch Social Software Conference

Wednesday, May 24. 2006

Yesterday I managed to reach the Conference just in time to visit the book presentation of "Die Google Gesellschaft" by Kai Lehmann. The following discussion was interesting and covered a really braod range of topics concerning social software.

Right now I can't wait to here the keynotes for the conference, which have really interesting topics like "Smarter, Simpler, Social – Merkmale und Eigenschaften von Social Software" by Lee Bryant.

I'll try to post my thoughts and real time experience of this conference here.

The conference wiki is growing in Realtime here: http://kiss.salzburgresearch.at:8080/SocialSkills/
