Quest for Heidelberg

Vlog@maljaysia.de is presenting Daniel, Gabeb, Raymond and myself starring in their quest for Heidelberg.

When is it for? Use an old idea. Define an area as “safe” and use it as an anchor. Humanize something free of error. Those ideas led us through Heidelberg catching footage and having fun. Hope you like my edit of our achievements!

*I hope you have no fear in posting more video. You have natural talent as an editor!

  2. Jürgen Hösch says:

*All of you guys n girls encouraged me in starting to experiment. Guess that's what I'll be doing in the future :-)

  3. Jan / The Faux Press says:

*Well done! In every way. Rhythm. Pace. Interest. Bravo.

  4. Jürgen Hösch says:

*Thx Jan. Feels good to hear this from you :-)

  5. Raymond Kristiansen says:

*As Jeffrey said: Very good editing. I liked the way you got the different shots together. I hope to see more footage from you in the future, as well as edits that maybe take different narrative paths than the one you did now. But yes, all that is in the future.

What I consider important myself is also to look at the Relationship between the video footage on the post and the rest of the post. To let the text surround the video, try different ways of doing it.

Again: Very good! Hope you feel accomplished about this one.

  6. Jürgen Hösch says:

*Thx for your Feedback - great that you like the video :-)

About the narrative path - I got to admit, that I didn't think it completely through. I had an idea to start with and then just let it flow. Next time I'll try it differently.

Hopefully I'll get my Canon Ixus fixed - then I'll be able to take more footage :-) The framerate my S/O/N/Y P1i produces sucks :-(

Don't have the video to stand alone - but include it into a composition with text etc.. Will try that the next time :-)

About accomplishment - feels like I got this one
    right :-) Comforting :-)

  7. Jürgen Hösch says:

*Changed the post text, the old didn't deliver any spirit.

  8. schlomo says:

    *That was great!

I wish I was able to attend this year; last year was wonderful.

Looking forward to more from you!

  9. Jürgen Hösch says:

*You really missed a great event for sure :-) Looking forward to meet you next year at vlogeurope07. Thx for your feedback.
