Blogging with multimedia content

At the wiai.community Stammtisch Dr. Jan Schmidt presented some results of his ongoing research on weblogging. One of the results that I can’t get out of my mind is, that only some 3 percent of all bloggers are enhancing there posts with multimedia content. So I’ll make it a mission to enhance my further postings with some videos from my mobile phone. The first part of this series can be seen here. It is Jan talking about putting pictures of cats into their blogs. I hope you are able to watch the movies compressed in 3gp format. If you have trouble viewing them, try to get a new version of the Realplayer.

    *Hey Jürgen, was war denn mit den Videos? ;-)
    Aber eigentlich wollte ich was anderes fragen: Bei Jans Vortrag kamen ja auch Podcasts zur Sprache. Hast du dich damit mal näher beschäftigt? Ich wüsste ja gerne mal, was ein guter Podcatcher ist, es gibt einfach zu viele und ich hab viel zu wenig Plan von der "Szene". Also, weißt du was?

    Podcasts.. gut ich hab mich damit befasst, aber von der Seite wie man da am besten selbst einen aufsetzen kann. In Anlehnung an den leider momentan eingestellten http://ppsreview.blogspot.com/ . Sowas kann ich mir gut für BA vorstellen. Vor allem denk ich, dass man damit auch ein paar mehr Leute erreichen kann als mit Uni-vox... Für Szene Tipps nach Podcasts kannst du dich glaub ich vertrauensvoll an Nico Fritsch (nico.fritsch-at-gmx.de) wenden. Der war auch an dem Stammtisch anwesend, und ist da glaub ich schon ein wenig tiefer eingestiegen.

    Aber ich glaub, da kam nichts weiter, oder? ;-) Daher die Frage.

    Also seh ich das richtig: du hörst keine Podcasts und kannst mir entsprechend kein gutes Proggi verraten, das mir die einsammelt, die mich interessieren?

    *Ich hab sogar noch ein paar Videos gepostet. Stichwort 3gp-coverage. Habs aber net nochmal explizit erwähnt evtl.. Die Artikel "At the Bamberg real estate exhibition (IMF)" und "Panel discussion on political magazines in German TV" sind jedenfalls mit Videos hinterlegt.

    Aber Du hast leider recht, ich kann dir kein tolles Programm empfehlen für Podcasts, aber wenn DU eins hast, darfst du mir gernen nen Tipp geben :-)
